What is Cialis 'Once a Day'?

Cialis (tadalafil) for once daily use (2.5mg and 5mg), is an oral medication taken once per day to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). When Cialis for once daily use is taken daily, men can attempt sexual activity at anytime between doses. Cialis may be most appropriate for men with ED who anticipate more frequent sexual activity. For other men, Cialis taken as needed - the previously approved dosing regimen - may be most appropriate.

How does it work'?

Cialis 'once a day' works in the same way as the better known Cialis and the other oral treatments for ED (namely Viagra and Levitra). Its active ingredient Tadalafil helps men achieve an erection by relaxing the tissue and muscles inside the penis, causing them to widen and allowing blood to flow in.

Cialis 'Once-a-day' works only with sexual stimulation. You won't get an erection just by taking Cialis for daily use. When sexual activity is over and blood flow to the penis decreases, your erection will go away.

What's the recommended dose?

Cialis for daily use is available in 2 doses (2.5 mg and 5 mg) so it's easy to adjust your dose. The Cialis dose for once daily should be started at 2.5mg but can be increased to 5mg depending on on your body's response to the medicine and on your medical condition. Take 1 tablet at about the same time every day, with or without food. Do not take it more than 1 time each day, or more than once in a 24-hour period.
