Private Doctor

Private doctors vary hugely with their pricing but generally they all have high initial charges and an intense initial medical examinations. It is quite usual to initially visit the doctor more than once and have to endure a number of examinations relating to your sexual health including possible psychological examination before a private doctor is happy to prescribe medication. Repeat prescriptions are usually not a problem. However, you will be charged for each prescription and pay full price for this treatment at the pharmacy.

Medi Center (Drop-in)

Found in the centre of most of the UK's bigger cities, these centres provide a complete medical services in-house including dispensing of treatments. Gaining an appointment is usually not a problem - all you need do is drop in. However, you will still be subjected to 3 or 4 examinations and be charged individually for these. Repeat prescriptions available and the process is the same as private doctors (above).

Boots

The Boots-run scheme generated a lot of initial interest but is currently only available as a pilot scheme in three chemists in Manchester. Bookings have to be made a day or two before and patients will have to undergo some basic medical tests and an hour long questions and answer consultation with a pharmacist. Men seeking this service will be able to buy one packet of 4 Viagra tablets for £50.00. Anyone wanting a repeat prescription would have to consult a doctor.

Firstmed

Our service offers convenience, discretion as well as good value for money. From the comfort of your own home, our customers fill an online consultation which is passed on to our GMC registered doctor for review. Upon approval (usually taking no more than 3 hours Mon -Fri), patients are able to log into the site and order from a range of treatments that the doctor has made available.
